Crochet Earrings – Making cute designs!
7May 18, 2017 by Robin @ Imperial Crochet
Lately, I’ve been extra busy with home and life stuff but I also realize that I need to fill my Etsy shop at a faster pace than what I’ve been doing. So, I thought, making cute little things, like crochet earrings, would be much quicker than making my usual larger items like shawls, scarves, and throws.
Trouble is, I’m spending way too much time in the design phase and not enough time in the production phase.
I don’t know what it is but I start out with good intentions and I always end up playing with my pretty beads.

Beads make me smile.
And thanks to my good friend, Queen of the Girl Geeks, I have A LOT of beads to play with.
I suppose there’s a lot bigger problems in the world than mine. And I did end up with one new design in the shop yesterday.
How To Make Crochet Heart Earrings
To make them, I started with a simple crocheted heart applique pattern that I found online and modified a little bit by adding a chain at the top.
I used Aunt Lydia’s Classic 10 crochet thread in black, a pretty pink ceramic Pony bead, and a sterling silver French earring hook.
And now I’m off to go play, I mean make more stuff to sell.
Wishing you a creative day!
Robin
I actually really understand you!! It’s so hard work making stock etc especially when all the good stuff is larger and takes him – have you thought about maybe making baby booties and hat sets? They don’t take long to make and woolly wonders on youtube has some really cute tutorials x

Oh pretty!! I love just putting both hands into a pile of beads and feeling them run through my fingers – it makes me feel like a little girl again!! Great idea with small items like earrings for building stock. Maybe some bracelets to match? 😀
