Stop Me!

Stop me if you think that you’ve heard this one before…

I’ve been stocking up on sale yarns for a while now and for every skein I’ve bought, I have a project in mind.  The problem is that I haven’t completed the projects!

Funny Crochet T-shirt.

I’ve promised myself that I will NOT buy any new yarn until I use up a good deal of the fuzzy stuff that I have.  (I know better than to say I won’t buy any until I use it ALL up.)

Anyhow, I was browsing Facebook today, when what to my wondering eyes should appear… but a premium yarn store less than 10 minutes from my house, where they have a gorgeous selection of yarns, hold evening classes, and I do believe I saw a glass of wine in one of the photos on their page!

I need you to stop me, oh, stop me…

In case you can’t read it, this funny crochet t-shirt says, You may see a pile of unused yarn but I see, 5,976 projects in my queue.  If you need this shirt as badly as I do right now, you can order it from Zazzle.  If you use the following affiliate link to make your purchase, I’ll get a small royalty from the sale.  This won’t cost you anything extra.

Click here to learn more and/or order this Funny Crochet T-shirt from Zazzle.

The shirt would be fun to wear but it  would be even more fun to gift to someone you love who has WAY TOO MUCH YARN.  Like I do!

And just in case you’ve picked up on the lyrics I’ve included in this post, here’s a video of the song they go to:  The Smiths, “Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before.”

I’d wear the tee but it would be a lie because of my queue, or at least my Ravelry queue, which I’ve stopped using because I was just using it as a “I like it” list.

Robin, go to the crafting night and confess you are a yarn addict in recovery, maybe they will help you complete 2-3 projects for every project you purchase!

  4. I understand this post all too well. So many possibilities in a single skein, it’s hard not to collect. And I love the Smiths connection here. 🙂

This sounds familiar. And I just started quilting, so now I’m starting to look at fabrics too, it’s so bad, lol.

LOL at that shirt!!! I wish I had a yarn shop near me!! I would love to have a little shop like that instead of always needing to go to the big box stores. I don’t think Michaels or Joann’s would appreciate it if I brought a bottle of wine and whipped out one of my wips in the yarn aisle! 😀

  9. Ha ha I love buying yarn, I used to feel guilty but feel now that buying the yarn is actually just as enjoyable. I’ve just finished a course for work so have a little more free time so I can spend more time crocheting!
