Infinity Scarf – New Listing at Etsy

I’ve been so lazy about listing things at my Etsy Shop.  I don’t know what it is but I find listing items the least desirable part of building a crochet business.

And of course, if I don’t list them, no one can buy them.

I love the crocheting part and I don’t mind the shipping part but I find the listing part to be a bit tedious.

Any who, I listed this pretty Infinity Scarf today.  Take a look!

I made it a little while ago (right before Christmas) using Centaur-colored  Mandala yarn.  I love how it turned out.  I think it would be perfect for winter or fall wear and should have posted it sooner.

How about you?  Do you have an Etsy shop?  If you do, what’s your least favorite chore there?  Share your thoughts in the comments.  I love hearing from my readers!

  1. Very pretty! Yes when I had an Etsy shop it was the same, new listings seem like so much work (though in reality they are not, ha!) 🙂

I have an Etsy shop. I am unable to update it often due to having an 18 month old…That means getting “sale-able” photos is very difficult…as they usually have to be taken outside. And I’m in Florida, so the weather, Oh! The weather! Don’t get me started! It’s either rain or full sun! Rarely a nice overcast day for perfect photos! And then putting it all together, editing, chopping, adjusting, titling, writing what people want to see and read, not what I want to say necessarily…it’s just a pain!

There’s very little I’d change about the process. It makes you really appreciate the process as a whole and what larger businesses have to go through to get where they are now.

  4. Looks lovely! Etsy can be a pain. It’s the SEO & keywords that bug me forever trying to get these to work

  6. Yep, listing is my least favourite part! Although posting does make me super anxious as I worry that I got the address wrong, or packed the wrong thing, or that it’ll get lost in the post…
