Snapdragon Stitch Baby Blanket

Available now in my Etsy shop!

Yesterday, I finished another baby blanket for my Etsy shop.  I used my favorite Snapdragon Stitch and created a gray-on-gray acrylic blanket with large stripes and a beautiful ruffly edge.

The edge was created using the reverse shell stitch on single crochet.  I found this wonderful border edge stitch while searching for something else on Youtube and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.  I couldn’t wait to try it out.

I love the way this baby blanket turned out!

The border turned out gorgeous but if you’re thinking of using it you need to know it’s very time consuming and it is a yarn eater.  I used almost an entire skein of Deramores Studio DK to complete a 34″ x 36″ blanket.

Anyway, that’s what I’ve been working on lately.  Well, that and some new baby booties that I’ll share with you soon!

How about you?  What’s on your hook?
